Horse Painting on Gesso Board

* Hi Everyone, this was the lastet piece I just finished. It was the first time I have ever painted on a Gesso Board.*

Prague, Czech Republic

 *Prague was my last stop before I went home. The city was so beautiful with my short time over there I wish I could have stayed longer, the food, pastries, and coffee was perfect. The Prague beer was alright(I am not a huge fan of beer) I did some shopping in Prague searching for a Victorian Cameo necklace. I did run into quite a few gyspies walking the streets in Vienna, and Prague.*

While traveling, I had a couple of my friends translating for me in Austria, but in Prague it was difficult comprehending the language, I was on my own on that one.

Salzburg, and Vienna Austria

* Hi Everyone, this was where I was at traveling on an insane itinerary. In Salzburg I went on "The Sound of Music Tour"which I have seen the movie hundreds of times. The next stop by the train was in Vienna. St Stephen's Cathedral was  the most beautiful cathedral I have ever seen in all my traveling, the coffee was amazing, and below is the Viennese coffee house I was at.*

I know your question is did I try any of the Austrian beer? Yes I did, and the taste was interesting.  I have had so much of the Austrian pastries, and did a ton of walking exploring the city of Salzburg, and Vienna.

I am back!

My Painting is Up: Yes, it is Baseball Related!

* Hi Everyone, my piece  is finally put to some use as a decoration on the wall.  It was taken down during the clinching of post season, last week. It would have been drastic if any champagne was spilled on my art during the momentous celebrations.  I am quite sure with some of you all, who knows exactly; where this painting is located.*

The Playoffs starts this Friday Go Dodgers!
Oh  I almost forgot, work has been  extremely busy with Hockey Season for the LA Kings.

* Hi Everyone, this was what I have been working on. I have to have make an appointment with my orthodontist, because I might have  surgery to pull out my wisdom teeth, which I have a fear of needles.*

Dragonfruit Photos

*Hi Everyone, I know it is close to midnight over here, but this week has been crazy trying dishes I haven't had in a long time. This is another of the fruits that I have been eating this week that is my favorite. I prefer eating the white dragon fruit than the red one, because it has more of the flavor.  If anyone has never tried dragon fruit the taste is similar to a kiwi. What I want for you all to do is don't be afraid to try something new if it a type of food or fruit; it can be good or bad.*

I am spending some time on several of art pieces, and three more commissioned work that is due in December.

An Old Vietnamese Tradition

* Hi Everyone, my Aunts are in town this entire week. Time for me to gain some calories by their cooking. If anyone has ever seen a jackfruit this is what it looks like. ( Yes that is actually the name of the fruit) Every single time they come to visit we all gather together; to open up the jackfruit to start eating and separating the fruit; as this is my mom's side of 9 brothers and sisters. In my opinion, it tastes like a sweet candied mango. It is amazing, how I used to hate this fruit as a kid, but now my taste has changed.
I will try to post what I am working on this week.*

Life of Sparky

* Hi Everyone! Oct 10, is coming up Sparky would have been 15 years old.  He was my first dog, and the best companion; when I was five years old. I nursed him back in 2007 when he got bitten by a black widow spider on his hind leg.  Oct 10, 2011: It was painful watching him have his last breath, but there are some events in life that you just cannot let go.*
