Salzburg, and Vienna Austria

* Hi Everyone, this was where I was at traveling on an insane itinerary. In Salzburg I went on "The Sound of Music Tour"which I have seen the movie hundreds of times. The next stop by the train was in Vienna. St Stephen's Cathedral was  the most beautiful cathedral I have ever seen in all my traveling, the coffee was amazing, and below is the Viennese coffee house I was at.*

I know your question is did I try any of the Austrian beer? Yes I did, and the taste was interesting.  I have had so much of the Austrian pastries, and did a ton of walking exploring the city of Salzburg, and Vienna.

I am back!

Hi Everyone, I am a little jet lag traveling from Europe this week. I will post some photos of where I went by tomorrow. My keyboard to my computer has decided to act up on me tonight.
Much Love,
~Courtney~

Spreading some wise words from the YAO link, which is so true!

My Painting is Up: Yes, it is Baseball Related!

* Hi Everyone, my piece  is finally put to some use as a decoration on the wall.  It was taken down during the clinching of post season, last week. It would have been drastic if any champagne was spilled on my art during the momentous celebrations.  I am quite sure with some of you all, who knows exactly; where this painting is located.*

The Playoffs starts this Friday Go Dodgers!
Oh  I almost forgot, work has been  extremely busy with Hockey Season for the LA Kings.

Black & White piece

* Hi Everyone, this was what I have been working on. I have to have make an appointment with my orthodontist, because I might have  surgery to pull out my wisdom teeth, which I have a fear of needles.*

Horse Drawing

*Hi Everyone! I was looking at a different angle on this piece. I am getting back into gear with some more of my art soon.*

Dragonfruit Photos

*Hi Everyone, I know it is close to midnight over here, but this week has been crazy trying dishes I haven't had in a long time. This is another of the fruits that I have been eating this week that is my favorite. I prefer eating the white dragon fruit than the red one, because it has more of the flavor.  If anyone has never tried dragon fruit the taste is similar to a kiwi. What I want for you all to do is don't be afraid to try something new if it a type of food or fruit; it can be good or bad.*

I am spending some time on several of art pieces, and three more commissioned work that is due in December.

An Old Vietnamese Tradition

* Hi Everyone, my Aunts are in town this entire week. Time for me to gain some calories by their cooking. If anyone has ever seen a jackfruit this is what it looks like. ( Yes that is actually the name of the fruit) Every single time they come to visit we all gather together; to open up the jackfruit to start eating and separating the fruit; as this is my mom's side of 9 brothers and sisters. In my opinion, it tastes like a sweet candied mango. It is amazing, how I used to hate this fruit as a kid, but now my taste has changed.
I will try to post what I am working on this week.*

Life of Sparky

* Hi Everyone! Oct 10, is coming up Sparky would have been 15 years old.  He was my first dog, and the best companion; when I was five years old. I nursed him back in 2007 when he got bitten by a black widow spider on his hind leg.  Oct 10, 2011: It was painful watching him have his last breath, but there are some events in life that you just cannot let go.*

Second Piece This Week

* Hi Everyone, I honestly don't know what I created? But I sure do need some sleep, I will be working on  another next piece when I do post it.*

Fall Charcoal Piece

* Hi Everyone! I was working on this charcoal piece at 12:37 am this morning, with Starbucks in hand.( I am one of those that I can fall asleep drinking coffee) I believe I pressed too hard on my tortillion stumps that both of my wrists  tendons are inflammed. Sampson woke me up in the middle of the morning by pouncing on me with all his weight;I have to love having a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Well then it is time for me to detox with some Green Tea. I hope you all have a wonderful Labor Day Weekend. *new

Carpal Tunnel Updates

* Hi Everyone,  following the trainer's orders of getting plenty of rest. Most likely it's doing nothing which I cannot stand, I have to be doing something. This hand brace is restrictitng me from doing anything. I am still going to find a way to work on my art. I am curious of what questions people will be asking me the next several weeks.*

Some News

Hi Everyone! Can anyone research Carpal Tunnel as of why in the world does it come and go? I was talking to one of the physical trainer's who asked me if I was still wearing my cast even if I am not in  excruciating pain? Now with my job as of  transporting heavy sport related  catalogs to different areas of the room at work this week. I am still stubborn of not taking any breaks even when I am constantly working on my art.

You all are thinking I am only  twenty to even have Carpal Tunnel, why am I even getting it that I should be enjoying my life?

Much Love,
~Courtney~ Xxx

Some Updates

Hi Everyone, how are you all? I am actually looking into some Non-Credit Classes at Otis Collage of Art and Design in LA, because a friend of mine gave me a brilliant idea as she noticed the portrait work I have been working on as of why haven't I thought of becoming a "Forensic Artist."  It will be something for me to think about, since I am willing to do it, and who knows what I will be interning for.

Much Love,
~Courtney~ Xxx
